The art of color

The art of color

Color is a language that everyone speaks. The meaning of color can change when combined with another color or colors.

Combining colors creates a positive feeling or positive emotion. It's about conveying that combination of colors in my art. A color harmony in your life. The better you get to know color, the more beautiful and happier your life will be.

It's time to color your world and with my love for color I can inspire you with this. When you give color love, you get love back.

The psychology of color

Newton showed that color is not a property of objects, but is created by the reflection of light. The colors we see when we look at an object depend on the light reflected from its surface. For example, objects differ in color: some wavelengths of light are absorbed and others are reflected. Our eyes only see the colors that bounce off the object, or the light that is reflected.

Sigmund Freud, often used the iceberg as a metaphor for our minds. The tip of the iceberg is the conscious, such as memories, feelings, sensations and perceptions. Just below the surface of the water is the subconscious. There are the thoughts, feelings and memories of which we are not directly aware, but which are easily accessible. Below that, deep in the water, is most of the iceberg. That piece represents the unconscious mind. There are all the persuasions, emotions, impulses, desires, memories and instinctive thoughts that we cannot reach on purpose. This part of the mind, according to Freud, determines our behavior.
